Fall Growing Season

In Arizona we have two growing seasons, one in the spring and another one in the fall.  August & September were a couple of the hottest months I've seen.  My tomatoes are doing well and I hope I get a fall crop.  The spring crop was so delicious.  This is my first attempt at a fall crop.  They look like they are liking the growing conditions.

We are expecting wind and possible rain tomorrow.  I'm thinking I need to wrap these so that they don't get blown to pieces.

  1. Gardening in Phoenix is certainly a challenge. Half my container plantings didn't survive the heat. So Glad that it has cooled down. Enjoyed your blog.

  2. It's so hard for me to believe you have tomatoes nearly year round. I hate store bought and won't even eat them anymore. Wish we had a season like yours..we hardly have enough to get a small crop. Happy eating!

  3. I didn't get many tomatoes out of my little garden this year. I guess it was either too wet early on or too dry later. I love tomatoes! Yours are looking good!
