First Bloom

The weather in the Phoenix, Arizona area has turned into sunny and warm of late and my first sweet pea is blooming among other flowers in the yard.   I want to be outside enjoying these beauties.

It's a beauty & white.

Luv Pansies.

Alyssum that returned from last year.

This is so fitting that these flowers are mostly white & purple.  This is the first year that I've planted in these sconces and the only thing is that you have to water daily.

There will be more flowers blooming soon.

  1. Very pretty. I love sweet peas, one of my favorites is Anniversary and another is High Scent. I can't wait until all our snow is gone and I can really get out and enjoy the garden again. Thank you for sharing.

  4. I'd call a pea's bloom simple elegance or elegant simplicity. Lovely, cheerful blooms!

  11. So pretty! We have dark pink sweet peas that grow wild on the fence at the edge of our property. I look for them every year. It will be a couple of months before they bloom, though. Thanks for sharing your floral photos! ~~Rhonda

  19. Hi Joanie Sweetie...
What a beautiful share this evening. I so enjoyed seeing your Sweet Pea, and your pansies, love the pansies, and alyssum as well. I planted my flowers into containers as well. With our heat out here, I have found that I can move them around and put color where I need, and when the sun gets hotter, I move them to another covered area. I have had blooms since January and I am so loving them right now.

I have never planted a sweet pea. I am going to have to give those a try. I love pansies and snapdragons though. They are some of my favorites. Your gardens are so pretty sweet friend. Thank you for taking me along on the stroll this evening.

I hope you had a beautiful day. I actually got outside and gardened a little. I needed some sunshine, my Vitamin D level has been low as of late.

Many hugs and hope to see you at the upcoming tea. Or we are also have a get together at Meri's coming up. Would love to have you join us there as well. Let me know if you want the info. I so want to meet you.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry
