GREEN

In Arizona, over the last month or so we have had quite a few storms come through the area and this is the result of those storms.  I posted photos awhile back about the desert & it was looking pretty bleak.  But, now, it is a little greener and we shall enjoy it while it is here because it will be gone very very soon.

There are even some little yellow flowers.  In March/April there may be a lot of wild flowers in the area.

  3. The desert can be so truly beautiful in the Spring when we've had the extra rainfall, but then it becomes such a hazard for wildfires. We certainly have had our share of crazy weather, haven't we? Did you get any snow out your way last week?

  6. Love seeing your picture of the dessert and the new green appearing. The cactus look so interesting with their arms stretched out.
