Where is Fall?

In Arizona August has been one of the hottest I've experienced.  It is still staying pretty warm but there is hope it will cool off soon so that we can experience Fall.

In the meantime, my best friend, Candace, sent me some pictures of her pumpkin harvest along with her beautiful Meg.   By the way, she lives in Reno, Nevada.

What are you harvesting out of your garden this time of year?
Are you planting for winter crops?

  1. I still have to harvest my pumpkins, Indian corn and popcorn. We don't do winter plantings in Iowa~too much snow to let those tender shoots get any sun...

  3. Hi Joani, love the photo. I don't have anything in the garden now. Wish I had some pumpkins and squash. Maybe next year. Have a nice weekend!

  5. It is always cool and temperate here on the coast of Oregon. Lettuces, peas and beans do well. Pumpkins, not really. I'll have to import me some.
Thanks so much for your visit, Joani.
