Bees

I was out in the yard this morning puttering until I realized there were a bunch of these guys.  I decided I'd best go inside until they've had enough.  Must be that time of year because last month I couldn't find one.   This is a hummingbird feeder but not today because the birds won't have anything to do with this.

  1. I haven't seen very many honeybees this year. They certainly look like they appreciate the meal.

  2. Oh my goodness! They are certainly enjoying themselves aren't they? Glad you didn't disturb them!

  3. These are wonderful shots! I think it is time for bees to get ready for a colder season, even where you live! Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Yeah it is that time of the year here too. The bees and wasps are searching for pure sugar now, to stock up for winter.
Great shots and even better that you didn't het harmed in making them ;-)

  5. Great photos, Joani! I think you were wise to go inside, since you just never know if they might be the Aftricanized bees.
