Did U guess already. Yup, I was stuck on I-17 between Cordes Junction and Phoenix. Left McDonalds at Cordes Junction at 3:00 p.m. and didn't get home til 6:00 p.m. It was a crawl and was able to take pictures alongside the road. Except for where the Christmas tree is in the middle of the interstate....then the traffic got a little faster and, of course, I couldn't get a good picture of that tree. Those of U living in Arizona.... in the middle of I-17 there is this humongous cedar tree that is decorated with Christmas ornaments during Thanksgiving and the rest of the year, after Christmas, it has yellow ribbons on it. They don't seem to know who does this decorating but it is a sight to see when U R traveling along the freeway.

i thought by moving to the US i never would see traffic jam again... i was wrong...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing though!

Thank you for visiting my blog and writing a kind comment ! If I am in a traffic jam with my family or friends I actually "enjoy" it :)
ReplyDeleteHave a bright week !
Oh I hate getting stuck in traffic. You got some neat photos out of it, tho.
ReplyDeletehate it when the traffic snarls up...but think of it this way...great to be alive and enjoy life which what you just did by taking all these great pics!! Fantastic pics, Joani!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI am glad to say that we don't have huge traffic jams here...our city is too small at the time....lol
ReplyDeleteI heard about that wreck on the news. I hate it when you're stuck in traffic. My husband and I used to make the weekly journey from Phoenix to Flagstaff as we had a place there. I loved getting out of the city but hated it when the traffic was bad. And I know the tree you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteWe've become a car nation, and traffic problems are to be expected. Making the best of the situation is an art few people have mastered.
