On the drive to Peeples Valley, Arizona, there is this frog along the roadside. It has been there since I can remember. I don't know the story about this frog.
These R calves from the different ranches that will be judged and sold to 4H & FAA kids to raise for their projects.
Below R Pictures of the area where they do the BBQ, cook beans, serve lunch and the grassy area is for sitting, visiting, and enjoying the day.
This gentleman was making biscuits on the tailgate of his truck and cooking them in a dutch oven with the coals from the picture below. He also made gravy which was very delicious and a great surprise but enjoyed by those that happened to be there.
Just look at all that wood.
These photos were taken by Susan Dumont the night before the day of the BBQ. She said that I could use them.
This is where they build the fire the night before to make coals to cook the meat in the pit.
This is those hot coals where they will lower the meat to begin cooking until the next day at noon.
Here, they R putting in the meat so that it can cook up scrumptous.
Here, they have taken the meat out of the pit & R going to chop it up for the chow line.
