August R A I N

In the desert we seldom see rain and I took a road trip north to Flagstaff recently and guess what I got to see.  Yes, RAIN.  I know, but this desert rat sees it so seldom that I'm in glee when it happens.  Notice the pine trees.....it was so much cooler up there than it is here in Phoenix.  It's sort of like when I walk into the coolers at CostCo and wish I could just stay there.  







It's all about the water in our State and this is just heaven.

    Oh, I wish I could see rain right now! We need it so much and some cooler temps, too. Did you get out of the car and stand in the rain? Glad you got to see it. Enjoy your weekend!

    What a relief, huh? Our state of Washington gets a lot of rain but only in the fall and spring, in my area of the state. We have the hot, dry temps here.
