Saguaros

In Arizona, Saguaros can be seen in most of the central and southern part of the state.  These pictures were taken a month or so ago after they bloomed a precious white flower and then they grow these red pods.  The birds really like these & demolish the pod very quickly.  One can also gather these pods and make a sauce or jam out of them.  I haven't tried cuz they have lots of little stickers.   They can become very tall in height & would be hard to pick.
