Cold or NOT, It's Bath Time
The last couple of days in Arizona have really been chilly. Even so, this little guy thought he needed a bath.
There have been several of these little ones hanging around in my yard and they are such a joy to watch. What type of nature is in your yard these days?

Oh my I think that is a hummingbird. Right now here in MI I have not seen many birds though I put bird seeds. But hope to see them soon. Like your photos!

That's odd! Didn't think hummingbirds stayed around for the cold weather. Great action shots of this little sweetie. Recently in my suburban yard I've spotted cardinals, blujays, mourning doves--and best of all--a hawk couple.
ReplyDeleteGreat captures! Love all the water flying.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love watching the birds...they are so much fun :o)

PS. I am now following you on Google...hope you will
follow me back :o)
Those are wonderful photos, Joani! We used to have a lot of hummers in our yard in Yuma, but we had a Weeping Bottlebrush tree & a large hybiscus, both with that compelling red color they are drawn to. Have you ever been to Sierra Vista (Southeast of Tucson)? It's supposed to be one of the big bird-watching areas.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting on my new blog header. I've actually been wanting to change it for the longest time, but just needed a good & easy-to-understand tutorial.....lol!

Wonderful photos! I thought you were always warm and dry, for some reason. Many Oregonians spend their winters down there and send back pictures of glorious days on the golf links. Is this winter particularly cold?
ReplyDeleteActually, this winter has been very very nice. Only a few days have been chilly. Unfortunately, we have not had the wet weather we really need. Thanks for stopping by.
